Medical Receptionist Oregon Dermatology & Surgery LLC Springfield, OR Job Details Full-time $18 - $20 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Intake Scanning Medical scheduling Full Job Description Oregon Dermatology & Surgery LLC is seeking a professional, dependable and hardworking Medical Receptionist to work in our fast paced Dermatology office. Monday thru Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-3:00. The Medical Receptionist, or Medical Front Desk Clerk, will be responsible for interacting with guests in a healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the medical team. Their duties include scheduling patient appointments according to Doctor availability, explaining intake forms to new patients, processing payments after treatment, and helping our referral coordinator with intake and scanning. As client-facing professionals, Medical Receptionists play a key role in representing a practice within the community.
Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in a medical office Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):- Greeting patients professional both in person and on the phone
- Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
- Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
- Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
- Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Verifying patient demographic information as well as identity and insurance information
- Maintain patient confidentiality Regular and reliable attendance is required to perform the functions of this position.
