In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verifications, and medical records with precision and professionalism. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, foster positive patient interactions, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and care. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations with enthusiasm and professionalism Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Dentrix or OpenDental Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing Collect payments, process medical collections, and maintain accurate billing records Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist patients with inquiries or appointment rescheduling Support clinical staff by coordinating patient intake, updating care plans, and reviewing medical documentation for completeness Requirements Proven experience as a Medical or Dental Receptionist with clinic or dental office experience preferred Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially under HIPAA guidelines Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and appointment scheduling
