•As a Front Office Team member you will play a crucial role in the delivery of world class specialty dental care. One of your main responsibilities will be to answer the phone, receive and enter patient information into our computer system and to schedule appointments. Another important duty is to have the ability to verify patient's insurance eligibility, remaining dental benefits and calculate co-pays owed by the patient before their appointment. Prior experience with Accounts Receivable management is desired. You will be assigned to an individual endodontist and in charge of that doctors schedule, verifying insurance coverage , calculating copays and following up with patients to ensure they are are feeling great after their appointments! We are looking for either someone who has dental experience and bonus points if you know Open Dental or someone who is a quick learner who we are able to teach the above mentioned skills to. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming environment. Handle patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups. Manage insurance claims and accounts receivable, utilizing Open Dental and EHR systems. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide exceptional patient service and support, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Collaborate with dental staff to streamline office management and improve patient flow.
