We are seeking a full-time Medical Secretary to join our dedicated office team!

WEEKENDS, EVENINGS or
HOLIDAYS!
What you will be doing... As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth operations within our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal abilities. Provide back office secretarial support and services related to routine business, administrative, and patient care. Answer multi-line phones promptly and courteously; screen and route calls, providing necessary information while assisting patients and other callers with all requests. Manage and route calls to appropriate clinical team members following policy, including completing nurse triage forms. Answer questions and relay information directly or on the telephone within the limits of knowledge and medical practice policy. Generate Encounter Forms using the computerized appointment schedules. Responsible for scheduling office appointments, referrals, and tests (i.e. CT scans, blood transfusions, x-rays, lab tests, etc.) for patients over the phone in a timely and accurate manner per physician orders. Ensure complete, confidential, accurate, and timely communication of patient information. Work with an awesome and tight-knit medical team. What we look for... Requirements:
What makes you qualified? High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative role in a healthcare setting Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Basic knowledge of insurance plans and billings. What we offer...
