The full-time Appointment Scheduler is responsible for coordination of telephone reception and appointment scheduling based on established CNOS physician scheduling guidelines. Work cooperatively with the CNOS physicians and clinical personnel in arranging appropriate patient appointments.
General Duties:
Manage CNOS incoming phone lines, group appointment emails, fax referrals, patient messages. Schedule new and follow-up appointments. Follow up with "no show" appointments as directed by physician. Ensure overall compliance with HIPPA, OSHA and CNOS policies.

Abilities:
Knowledge of medical terminology, word processing and computer experience. Maintain proficiency in Allscripts EHR and Allscripts PM. Proficiency with secretarial/clerical duties, including date entry, filing and phone etiquette. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to deal effectively and courteously with caller, patients and families, and exchange patient related information with a variety of clinic personnel.
Requirements:
