Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator / Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing front desk operations while ensuring the accurate and secure handling of medical records. Your expertise will help maintain compliance with health information management standards, uphold patient confidentiality, and support seamless administrative workflows. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation, retrieval, and updating of medical records in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations Verify patient information, insurance details, and appointment schedules to facilitate smooth clinical operations Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and health information regulatory compliance standards Organize, file, and archive medical records securely while managing electronic records management systems (EMR/EHR) for quick access and retrieval Assist with medical coding processes to ensure proper billing and revenue cycle management Support healthcare staff by coordinating record requests, data entry, and documentation updates as needed Requirements Proven experience in a medical office environment or healthcare setting with familiarity in medical records management Strong knowledge of health information management principles, healthcare privacy protection laws, and clinical confidentiality policies Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for administrative tasks Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems with an understanding of health information regulatory compliance Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding practices, and revenue cycle management processes Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in records management and data accuracy Outstanding customer service skills combined with professional communication abilities Join us in delivering exceptional healthcare experiences by ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of vital medical information.
