Your expertise with dental office systems such as Dentrix is helpful, but will train the right individual. Duties Greet patients and their families warmly, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere from the moment they walk in Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix, ensuring optimal patient flow Verify insurance coverage Collect payments Maintain accurate patient records Answer multi-line phone systems with professional and warm phone etiquette; coordinate appointment reminders and follow-up calls Requirements Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations; bilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated clerical skills including typing (10 key), filing, data entry, and managing multi-line phone systems Understanding of health information management practices and clinical confidentiality policies in compliance with HIPAA regulations Ability to handle high-volume patient intake processes efficiently while maintaining attention to detail This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring team dedicated to improving children's oral health through exceptional administrative support.
