Do you want to be part of the largest orthopaedic provider in Eastern Tennessee? Join the team at KOC in our Imaging Department, where we provide personalized care in a collaborative and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a full-time MRI Front Desk who is committed to providing superior service and eager to grow within a highly respected orthopaedic practice to work a closing shift schedule at our KOC Powell office. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule MRI examinations according to physicain orders, clinical urgency, and scanner availability Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance information and authorization requirements Review MRI safety questionnaires and screen patients for contradictions (is, implants, devices, claustrophobia, etc.) Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions and arrival times to patients Coordinate with radiologists, technologists, nursing staff, and referring providers Manage rescheduling, cancellations, and add-on appointments as needed Maintain accurate records within the scheduling and electronic medical record (EMR) systems Assist department with various administrative tasks as needed
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
Medical office experience preferred Understanding of all safety protocols and procedures Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and service
