As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service while supporting quality patient care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. Answer multi=line phone systems and direct calls appropriately. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Perform patent check-in and check-out. Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals when required. Collect co-pays, balances, and process payments. Register new patients and maintain accurate demographic information. Scan, upload, and manage documents within the Electronic Health Record. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations. Coordinate with providers, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Complete additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
