Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team! Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to create a positive first impression Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using scheduling software Manage electronic health records (EHR) with accuracy and confidentiality Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls appropriately Collect and verify insurance information, including health insurance details and managed care plans Perform data entry tasks related to patient demographics, billing, and appointment details Assist with insurance third-party billing processes and revenue cycle management to ensure timely payments Maintain internal communication channels to coordinate with medical staff effectively Support the clinic's administrative operations by managing correspondence, filing, and documentation Requirements Proven administrative experience within healthcare settings or medical offices Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of health insurance policies, managed care processes, and third-party billing procedures Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and data entry protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person Ability to manage schedules efficiently while handling multiple priorities simultaneously Typing speed that ensures quick data entry without sacrificing accuracy Knowledge of revenue cycle management processes to support billing and collections efforts Writing skills that facilitate professional correspondence and documentation Join us in making a difference by providing exceptional administrative support that enhances patient experiences!
