Have experience with working with dental insurance claims. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front office operations, ensuring a seamless patient experience from the moment they arrive. This role requires excellent administrative skills, knowledge of dental office procedures, Be able to use dental software, and a strong passion to maximize all the tools necessary to keep the schedule optimized for success in production and efficiency. We have a high percentage of bilingual Spanish speaking patients and the receptionist must be able to speak Spanish fluently. The person must be able to get insurance breakdowns and be able to balance the ledger. We want a fun and energetic team member that can make us successful. Must have prior experience working in the dental office as a receptionist. No visible tattoos in hands or face, and no unnatural hair colors. No tongue or nose piercings. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments efficiently. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation review. Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the front office is well-organized. Assist in coding for billing purposes and ensure compliance with Medicare /medicaid regulations. This is not required but would be nice. Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans and financial options. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Requirements Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a dental office setting. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment. Experience with insurance verification processes and medical records management. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation review. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of dental coding practices is a plus but not required. I am the only dentist in the office and need a dependable, responsible team member who is self motivated. We want someone that has a positive attitude and wants to be part of our team. We are a small group with only 2 members in the front desk and 2 in the back assisting with dental procedures. We are easy going because we work as a team.
