Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and providing excellent customer service. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the law firm by providing crucial and timely medical records and bills for our cases, serving demands for cases, and requesting/compiling medical records and bills for the attorney.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office, help new clients with paperwork
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and appointment scheduling
- Requesting clients medical records and bills once completed with treatment
- Maintain and update patient records using electronic medical record systems (ciox, casepeer)
- Draft and serve demands to insurance providers and attorneys
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- The ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with electronic health records
- Knowledge of personal injury cases
- Bilingual (English, Spanish) This position requires knowledge of medical records, medical bills, Chartswap database, health insurances, and health insurance liens.
