Level III Armed Guard Vigilant Protection Services El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time $15 - $17 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications High school diploma or GED Armed Security License Conflict management Full Job Description Friday/Saturday 7P-1A Sunday 9A-3P Minimum 18hours a week Maximum 30hours Vigilant Protection Services is seeking highly alert, licensed (level 3) Armed Security Guards to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. You will play a critical role in deterring threats, responding to incidents, and enforcing property rules. This role requires professionalism, strong judgment under pressure, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Protect life and property by maintaining a visible presence and conducting regular patrols Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and effective manner Monitor access control points Deter criminal activity through strong situational awareness and professional conduct Enforce client-specific rules and regulations on site Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary Maintain weapon readiness and follow all firearm safety procedures and state laws Monitor entrance/exit to ensure property does not exceed capacity. Qualifications Currently have a Level 3 guard card. High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent judgment, communication, and conflict resolution skills Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods Reliable transportation and availability to work assigned shifts (including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed) Must pass background check and drug screening Schedule & Compensation There will be weekends with no shifts, weekly schedule provided.
