Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional fully bilingual Medical Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a busy healthcare setting. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, and insurance processes, ensuring smooth clinic operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing check-in procedures. Schedule appointments accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks. Verify patient insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical collections with attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies. Assist clinical staff by reviewing documentation, managing medical records, and supporting care plan coordination. Providing information professionally and directing messages appropriately to other departments while practicing excellent customer service etiquette. Manage administrative tasks data entry, typing, and maintaining organized office electronic files. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding appointment scheduling, follow-up instructions, or billing inquiries. Support billing processes by understanding the billing department structure and protocol standards. Uphold clinical confidentiality policies at all times while handling sensitive health information accurately within EMR/EHR platforms. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless clinic operations and exceptional patient service delivery. Experience Prior experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of health insurance procedures including Medicare and private insurance, obtaining authorizations from primary care providers. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes. Proven clerical experience with strong organizational skills in managing medical records and office workflows. Ability to handle high-volume phone communication professionally while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and data entry.
