Available Help for . We are seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedMedical Receptionistto join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and have a background with basic knowledge of medical terms. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication between patients, providers, and staff, while maintaining a high standard of assistance with patient care and confidentiality. We provide on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate patient new and follow-up appointments, and referrals Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, external providers and entities Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries Support clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations Communicate with external entities representatives to obtain case status Answer incoming calls in a professional manner

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Certifications and /or other degrees acceptable Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) Strong interpersona and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
