In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth administrative operations and exceptional patient service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical administrative expertise while supporting quality care delivery in a fast-paced setting. Duties Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Prompt EMR Process payments, and handle medical collections with accuracy and professionalism Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to care plans, including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing procedures Manage phone communication with patients and healthcare providers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Assist with medical records management, filing, and electronic health records (EHR) system management Support clinical staff by coordinating appointments, managing clinic schedules, and ensuring efficient front desk operations Skills Proven experience in medical office administration or front desk support within a clinical setting Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Familiarity with medical terminology, health insurance processes, Medicare guidelines, and health information management Competence in medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), billing procedures, and documentation review Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and 10-key typing proficiency Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle phone communication professionally and courteously Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is ideal for motivated individuals with clinic experience who are passionate about supporting healthcare delivery through outstanding administrative support.
