Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service. This position requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Make every child smile :) Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the office, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and handling cancellations. Perform insurance verification and assist patients with understanding their coverage options. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software systems (Oryx) for managing patient information and appointments. Handle phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary. Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with administrative tasks. Requirements Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with insurance verification processes is essential. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in patient records and scheduling. Proficiency in using dental software systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 36.0 per week
