Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Orthodontic Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office management software, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist our diverse patient base. The position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated dental team committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits Handle data entry, filing, and proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and completeness Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and insurance claims processing as needed Manage calendar appointments and coordinate with dental staff for efficient office operations Provide excellent customer support by addressing patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person Ensure the reception area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times Perform clerical duties including typing, document preparation, and maintaining office supplies Qualifications Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse patient population Experience with data entry, filing, proofreading, and calendar management is preferred Knowledge of medical or dental receptionist duties including appointment scheduling and insurance processing is a plus Personal assistant or office support experience will be considered an asset Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
