In Office This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within the healthcare field and learn multiple areas of home health administration. Experience in billing, HR, medical records, payroll, scheduling, or a medical office setting is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn, and ready to become a valued part of our team. Position Overview The Office Clerk will provide administrative support to several areas of our agency, including Billing, Human Resources, Medical Records, Payroll, and Scheduling . The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working on a computer, able to manage multiple tasks, and willing to learn. Because we work with pediatric patients, families, nurses, therapists, physicians, and insurance providers, professionalism and attention to detail are very important.
Responsibilities May Include:
Assist with maintaining and organizing patient medical records Scan, upload, file, and retrieve documents Assist with employee and personnel records Support HR with onboarding paperwork and documentation Assist with payroll and timesheet review Assist with employee and patient scheduling Help verify that documentation is complete and properly filed Assist the billing department with data entry and administrative tasks Answer and route incoming phone calls Communicate professionally with staff, patients' families, and healthcare providers Enter and update information in agency software systems Track missing paperwork and follow up with appropriate staff Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed Experience Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Medical Billing Medical Records Human Resources Payroll Scheduling Home Health Medical Office Administration Kantime, Paycom, Quickbooks software knowledge Insurance Verification Data Entry Administrative/Clerical Work Healthcare experience is preferred but NOT required. We are willing to train a dependable candidate who is eager to learn.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills required Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and computer-based systems Good organizational and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to learn new software and procedures Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Professional phone and communication skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to multitask in a busy office environment Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
