Position Overview The Office Clerk will provide administrative support to several areas of our agency, including Billing, Human Resources, Medical Records, Payroll, and Scheduling. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working on a computer, able to manage multiple tasks, and willing to learn. Because we work with pediatric patients, families, nurses, therapists, physicians, and insurance providers, professionalism and attention to detail are very important.
Responsibilities May Include:
Assist with maintaining and organizing patient medical records
Scan, upload, file, and retrieve documents
Assist with employee and personnel records
Support HR with onboarding paperwork and documentation
Assist with payroll and timesheet review
Assist with employee and patient scheduling
Help verify that documentation is complete and properly filed
Assist the billing department with data entry and administrative tasks
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Communicate professionally with staff, patients' families, and healthcare providers
Enter and update information in agency software systems
Track missing paperwork and follow up with appropriate staff
Maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information
Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed
