Health Insurance + Paid Time Off About the Position We are a busy, patient-focused oral and maxillofacial surgery practice seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates well, enjoys interacting with patients, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous experience in a dental, oral surgery, medical, or specialty practice is preferred , but we are willing to consider candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally Answer and manage incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information Assist with insurance verification and benefit information Collect patient payments and accurately process transactions Communicate treatment and appointment information clearly to patients Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain an efficient patient schedule Manage referrals, records, and other front-office documentation Respond professionally to patient questions and concerns Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Perform general administrative and front-office duties as needed Qualifications Previous dental, oral surgery, medical, or healthcare front-desk experience is preferred Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Professional and friendly phone etiquette Excellent verbal and written communication Dependable, punctual, and organized Comfortable multitasking in a busy office Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn practice-management software Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively as part of a team Experience with dental insurance, treatment coordination, scheduling, or oral surgery is a plus and may qualify candidates for higher compensation. Compensation & Benefits $20-$30 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position .Benefits include:
