Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Office Specialist to join our medical practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. Bi-Lingual is a plus. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients efficiently and professionally. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Strong attention to detail. Verify patient information and insurance details. Assist in maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations, and referral requirements fo insurance companies. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately and relay messages promptly. Prepare and organize documents for patient visits, including forms and informational materials. Assist with billing and payment processing as needed. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient care. Willingness to learn all phases of the front office, reception, check-in, insurance verification, scheduling, referrals, etc. Utilize medical terminology accurately when interacting with patients and staff. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred . Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience in EMR software applications (e.g., EPIC, EClinical, CureMD ). Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
