This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays an important role in maintaining efficient front office operations. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, capable of multi-tasking, and committed to providing excellent patient service. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Experience and Skills 1+ year experience in a medical office, administrative, or front office role preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional demeanor and customer service orientation Attention to detail Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Answer and screen incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Collect and process patient payments Obtain, verify, and update patient demographic and insurance information Maintain patient records and scan documents into the electronic medical record Manage incoming faxes and distribute appropriately Process medical record requests Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards Follow established clinic policies and procedures Provide front office support to physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support daily clinic operations Work Schedule Full-Time Position Primary schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Additional hours may be available when providing coverage for other front office staff.
