Full Job Description About Us:
At Emmanuel Clinic, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare to our patients. We are currently seeking a friendly, patient advocate, organized, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar Verify patient information and insurance coverage Collect co-pays and handle billing inquiries Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Manage Referrals for patients Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff Manage check-in and check-out Patients in a fast pace manner
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical office Required Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and office software (Especially eCW) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus
