Job Description

Medical Receptionist needed part time 2 days a week Phase 2 is a busy, well established gynecology clinic. We are looking for a new candidate to join our team part time. Someone who is looking for a long term position. Our receptionists are always busy with different tasks ranging from face to face patient interaction, answering phone calls, data entry, outbound calling, and task completion. We are looking for a long-term candidate who can grow with the company. Candidate must be available to work Tuesday 8:30-5:30, and one other day Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizing patient satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying medical assistant of patient's arrival. Answering patient questions; maintaining the reception area. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Scanning appropriate paperwork within patient record for up-to-date information. Obtains co-pays, balances, and any pre-payments. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Following HIPAA protocols. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Ability or desire to help as a Medical Assistant if needed. MA or CNA training a plus but not necessary. Qualifications Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus. Spanish-speaking a plus.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
