Job Description
This position is a part time 2-3 nights & 2 Saturdays a month (Mon
- Fri 5
- 9pm and Saturday 9am
- 6pm or 1pm
- 9pm) We have locations in Lehi, AF, PG, Lindon, Vineyard, Saratoga Springs & Eagle Mountain.
Job Summary:
The receptionist will provide customer service to our patients and administrative support to our Medical team. This is a fast paced Medical Office with a high volume of calls and patients. This position serves as the company's first impression to all of our patients and visitors, we expect the person in this role to both dress and act professionally at all times.- Reports to the
Office Manager Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays. Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area. Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records. Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information; recording and collecting patient charges; controlling credit extended to patients; filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims. Helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies. Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED Excellent customer service skills Excellent phone etiquette Detail oriented Ability to Multitask Team Player Integrative medicine experience a plus Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Comfortable with daily office and administrative duties Familiar with Outlook 365 Comfortable with EMR System Language /Communication Skills:
