Job Description
Job Summary CU Chiropractic is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring a smooth flow of communication between patients and medical staff. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to handle clerical tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers. Answer phone calls with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns effectively. Maintain accurate patient records, including updating information in electronic health systems. Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance eligibility. Handle billing inquiries and assist with payment processing. Ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming for patients. Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient care and communication. Perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and managing correspondence. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office management is a plus. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Familiar with the basic use of a Mac computer. Proficient in phone etiquette and delivering excellent patient service. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations within a medical office environment. This is a

position. Monday -Friday:
