Job Duties/Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting patients and visitors in person and on the phone, establishing a welcoming and professional first impression. Coordinate patient care by managing appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling using practice management software. Collect, verify, and update patient insurance information; assist patients with insurance questions and ensure accurate insurance billing details. Apply copayments and process payments accurately at check-in or check-out. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPPA regulations. Answer incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to appropriate staff and providing basic information about services and office protocols. Assist patients with completing required intake forms, consents, and other documentation. Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow and timely communication of patient needs. Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues as appropriate. Participate in training and development opportunities to stay current with office procedures, technologies, and customer service best practices. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall office efficiency and enhance the patient experience. Job Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare or medical office setting required. Demonstrated excellence in customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
