Medical Receptionist Join Our Team! Our busy podiatry practice is looking for an experienced, organized, and friendly Medical Receptionist who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. If you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy helping patients, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars Verify insurance and collect co-pays/payments Answer phones and direct calls appropriately Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) Assist with administrative tasks including scanning and faxing Protect patient confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines Work with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of medical receptionist experience prefered Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) Knowledge of medical terminology Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient care Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements If you're looking to join a professional, patient-focused team where your skills make a difference every day, we encourage you to apply!
