Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient communications, and administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency. Proficiency in Open Dental and the ability to multi-task are essential for success in this role. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are valued. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out processes Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using Open Dental software Manage patient records accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence efficiently, addressing patient inquiries and concerns Verify insurance information and process billing or payments as needed Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations Multi-task effectively by managing multiple administrative duties simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-organized at all times Experience Prior experience working as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred Proficiency in Open Dental or comparable dental practice management software is highly desirable Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients and team members Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality This role is vital to ensuring our patients receive outstanding service while supporting the efficient operation of our dental practice. Pay:
$22.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
