Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scheduling Manager. As the Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling process and ensuring efficient utilization of resources. This is a key role in our organization, as effective scheduling is crucial to the smooth operation of our business.Duties:
- Develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures
- Supervise a team of schedulers and provide guidance and support
- Utilize scheduling systems to create and maintain accurate schedules
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands
- Collaborate with management to optimize resource allocation
- Assist in budgeting and fiscal management related to scheduling activities
- Oversee office management tasks related to scheduling, such as maintaining records and generating reports
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in scheduling and utilization management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in scheduling or related field, preferably in an acute care setting
- Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in utilizing scheduling systems/software (experience with Epic is a plus)
- Knowledge of fiscal management principles and budgeting processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
