The scribe will assist our surgeon by accurately documenting patient encounters, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. This role is vital in enhancing patient care and streamlining clinical operations. Duties Observe and listen to patient-physician interactions during appointments. Transcribe and document medical information, including history, examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans in real-time. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with medical standards. Assist physicians with updating electronic health records (EHR) promptly after each patient visit. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy regulations. Support the clinical team with administrative tasks related to documentation as needed. Requirements Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Basic understanding of medical terminology, especially related to orthopedics (preferred but not required). Prior experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is advantageous. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Professional demeanor with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. This is a unique opportunity to work in a small private practice.
