Responsibilities:

Document patient encounters in real time during office visits Accurately enter the history, physical exam, assessment, and plan into the EHR Update medication lists, allergies, and medical history Prepare charts prior to appointments and assist with documentation completion Enter orders for provider review and signature, as permitted Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and other clinical documentation as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure accurate, timely documentation

Qualifications:

Previous medical scribe experience required (Family Practice or Primary Care preferred) College Degree Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) Strong knowledge of medical terminology Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
