Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly. Support physicians in achieving HIPAA compliance through meticulous documentation and adherence to privacy policies. Maintain organized and complete medical documentation, including progress notes, discharge summaries, and referral letters. Communicate effectively with patients during their visits to clarify information as needed while respecting clinical confidentiality policies. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office settings or as a medical scribe, with familiarity using EMR/EHR systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to accurately transcribe clinical information. Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with fast-moving clinical environments. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality.
