This vital role combines real-time medical documentation with clinical support, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations. As a key member of the medical team, you will facilitate accurate record-keeping, assist with patient interactions, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in medical transcription, electronic health records management, and clinical assistance within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring precise medical documentation and coding. Support physicians during patient examinations by preparing examination rooms, collecting vital signs, and documenting clinical notes promptly. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) by entering, updating, and maintaining comprehensive patient data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient records to streamline clinic workflow. Ensure adherence to clinical confidentiality policies by safeguarding sensitive patient information at all times. Support patients through respectful communication, answering questions regarding procedures or forms while maintaining professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, including sterilizing equipment and restocking supplies as needed. Requirements Proven experience in medical office settings or as a medical scribe, with familiarity using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems and EHR systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and clinical procedures to accurately document patient encounters. Excellent typing skills with high accuracy for fast-paced transcription tasks; experience with medical transcription is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient records. Prior experience working in emergency room environments or clinics is preferred to handle diverse clinical situations efficiently. Exceptional organizational skills coupled with clear writing skills for detailed medical documentation. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. Looking for someone who is bilingual, and can speak Spanish. We primarily cater to a Latino population. A lot of room for growth.
