Job Description
Ophthalmic Technician / Medical assistant/ Scribe needed for Ophthalmology/ Retina office in Rockville We provide personalized high quality care to patients and have a friendly, organized and efficient office environment. This position involves mainly back office work including working with electronic records, preliminary screening of patients , scribing and obtaining OCT , visual fields and fundus photos. Willing to teach a motivated candidate but at least 2 years of commitment is required as it takes 6 months to train. Schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:45 to 4:00 Compensation commensurate with experience and efficiency. Retirement SEP plan after 3 years with 1/4 of salary contribution by the office to retirement account.
