- Assist healthcare providers with documenting patient encounters in real-time
- Accurately and efficiently enter patient information into electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Transcribe medical histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient visits
- Manage and organize medical records, including filing and retrieving documents as needed
- Prepare and update patient charts with relevant information for each visit
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care ```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a similar role is preferred
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transcription
- Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain medical records effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
