Part-time, 25 hours/week (flexible based on physician schedules)

Pay:

$20+/hour (based on experience)

ONLY EXPERIENCED MEDICAL SCRIBES WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking skilled Medical Scribes with CURRENT or RECENT medical scribing experience to support our physicians across multiple specialties. This is not an entry-level position — applicants must have at least 1 year of recent medical scribing experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Document patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans in real-time. Transcribe physician dictation into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Chart physical exam findings, including vitals and observations. Organize and review medical documentation for accuracy. Update patient records and coordinate follow-ups as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent medical scribing experience - STRICTLY

REQUIRED.

High School Diploma or GED (required). Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment .
