Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. veterans. In this role, you will conduct non-treatment medical evaluations, review medical records, and document findings to support disability benefit determinations for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person C&P disability examinations for veterans Review medical records and service history prior to exams Perform focused physical and/or mental health assessments as required Accurately document findings using standardized VA templates Submit timely, detailed medical reports through the designated portal Maintain professionalism and sensitivity when working with veteran populations
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted license (MD, DO, NP, PA) Ability to complete thorough documentation and meet reporting deadlines Strong communication and assessment skills Comfortable using electronic medical record systems
Position Details:
Independent contractor / PRN opportunities available Flexible scheduling No treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient care required Training and exam guidelines provided
