Job Overview We are expanding and seeking a motivated and detail-oriented experienced Medical Scribe and Assistant to join our team. This full time position offers an exciting opportunity to support clinical operations, enhance medical documentation accuracy, and ensure seamless patient interactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and a passion for healthcare. Duties Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions in real-time using electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Assist healthcare providers with medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical records management standards. Support the preparation of patient charts, update electronic health records (EHR), and organize medical records for easy access. Review charts for receipt of diagnostic results, referring doctor notes, testing, etc. is available for physician review at office visit. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology to accurately capture clinical notes. Ensure achieving HIPAA compliance during all documentation and data handling processes. Support the clinical team with administrative tasks such as typing reports, managing medical transcription, and ensuring accurate record keeping. Rooming patients, taking vitals and assisting in minor in-office procedures. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office setting as a medical scribe is required. Strong transcription skills with excellent typing speed and accuracy. Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR systems is essential. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and clinical confidentiality policies. Demonstrated ability to achieve HIPAA compliance and handle sensitive patient information responsibly. Perfect attendance record. Excellent writing skills with attention to detail in medical documentation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure. Why Join Us?
