Full-Time Varied Schedule (Friday - Sun AM Shift, 6:00am-2:30pm).

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Medication Technician assists resident with medications under supervision of a licensed nurse. Assists by performing routine resident related care duties and activities of daily living.
JOB DUTIES
The Medication Aide accepts, accounts and documents all new medications brought into the facility. Safely prepares and aides with resident self-administration of medications. Maintains accurate medication documentation and records. Guides the resident in maintaining their schedule of daily activities, while maintaining the resident's sense of independence. Individualizes care and assistance provided to each resident depending on level of functioning. Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising. Transfers, transports and escorts residents as needed. What you will bring Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor. High school graduate, student or equivalent. Completion of required RCFE training as Medication Technician Current First Aid & CPR certification. At least one year of experience as a caregiver in a facility or in-home caregiving Ability to work in a health care and CCRC environment Knowledge and practice of safe lifting and back care techniques Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English High school graduate or equivalent.
