Part-Time Medication Technician Wage:
$20-$25/hour, depending on experienceSchedule:
Part-Time (flexible availability preferred)Position Summary:
We're seeking a compassionate, hospitality-focused Medication Technician to join our care team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our residents' well-being by safely preparing and administering medications with care and precision.Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications Ensure all medications are administered as prescribed, following proper protocols Verify medication information against orders and labels for accuracy Clearly identify residents before administering medications Maintain proper documentation of medications and treatments providedRequired Qualifications:
Completion of a State-approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant training program (registration with the State registry required) Completion of a State-approved Medication Aide Course (and applicable continuing education, as required) Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English Basic math skills and accurate documentation ability Prior experience in senior care or assisted living is a plus If you're passionate about senior care and creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents, we'd love to meet you.
