This role drives revenue expansion by identifying corporate commercial leads, executing property site walks, constructing precise service proposals, and partnering with operations to ensure an exceptional client onboarding experience. Essential Responsibilities Proactively generate new business opportunities across target commercial profiles, including regional property managers, HOA boards, and corporate facility directors. Execute detailed, physical site walkthroughs to analyze square footage, flooring types, high-traffic cleaning frequencies, and specific building facility needs. Build accurate scopes of work and pricing models within established company margin parameters to construct highly competitive client proposals. Present and negotiate service contracts directly with key business decision-makers to systematically secure long-term, recurring commercial accounts. Maintain meticulous business development pipeline metrics and activity notes daily within the Aspire CRM platform to cleanly track active prospects and follow-up paths. Collaborate closely with the Janitorial Operations team to clearly communicate facility expectations, safety specifications, and scheduling variables during new account transitions. Support the client relationship during the critical contract start-up phase to guarantee total satisfaction and clear communication lines. Decision Rights and Boundaries Owns lead qualification, territory planning, proposal presentation formatting, and client follow-up scheduling across the local Bay Area market. Does not own final cleaning team scheduling, day-to-day janitorial labor management, or physical field quality audits after the initial onboarding phase. Escalates complex labor pricing exceptions, large-scale supply cost adjustments, and unique margin parameters to the Division Manager or CEO for standard approval. Qualifications and Experience 2+ years of proven professional business development or B2B sales experience , with a clear advantage given to individuals coming from commercial janitorial, building maintenance, facility services, or corporate route environments. Strong relationship-building competencies to confidently navigate multi-layered commercial property structures and facility boards. Tech literacy and comfort utilizing mobile business platforms (prior experience tracking opportunities within Aspire CRM is highly valued). Excellent presentation and communication abilities , strong time management skills, and an independent, self-driven work ethic. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is highly preferred to bridge initial client parameters and field operating contexts smoothly. A valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to comfortably travel to client properties throughout the North Bay territory.
