Position Summary:
The Experience Coordinator - Med Tech is responsible for safely assisting residents with medications while supporting their daily living needs. This role focuses on building meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their individual stories, preferences, and goals, and helping them live purposeful and fulfilling lives. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, team player, and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer and assist residents with medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policies. Verify resident identification to ensure medications and care are provided accurately. Observe residents and recognize changes in condition, behavior, or wellbeing. Promptly document and report any changes in resident status to the appropriate supervisor. Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed while promoting dignity and independence. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members. Accurately document medication administration, care provided, incidents, and resident observations. Monitor and record resident meal intake as required. Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs, requests, and emergencies. Assist with resident moveins, transfers, and moveouts. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Follow all community policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support community activities and initiatives that enhance the resident experience.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build meaningful relationships with residents and families. Excellent observation, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Current Medication Technician certification required. Minimum of six (6) months of experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, home health, hospital, or other healthcare settings preferred. Previous senior living experience strongly preferred. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Why Join Aden Senior Living?
