Medication Technician (Med Tech) - Overnight Shift Maris Pointe | Venice, Florida Friday-Monday | 10:00 PM-6:00

$18.50-$20.00 per hour Make a Difference Every Night Maris Pointe is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our overnight care team. This position offers a consistent schedule working every Friday through Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM . What You Will Do Assist residents with medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and community policies. Provide direct resident care based on each resident's individualized care plan. Observe residents for changes in condition and immediately report concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Respond appropriately to changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions. Accurately document medication assistance, resident observations, incidents, interventions, clinical procedures, and communications before the end of each shift. Communicate important resident information to the incoming shift and appropriate members of the leadership team. Help ensure Resident Assistants complete timely and accurate documentation of services and resident concerns. Assist with resident assessments and individualized care plans as directed by the Director of Assisted Living. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Need High school diploma or GED required. At least one year of related work experience preferred. Current Medication Technician certification or medication-assistance training that meets Florida requirements. Experience working in assisted living, senior living, or a similar healthcare setting preferred. Dependable attendance and the ability to work the scheduled overnight shifts. Compassionate, professional, and attentive approach to resident care. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, crouching, and kneeling.
