Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced, dependable, and compassionate Certified Medication Aides (CMA) / Medication Technicians to join our assisted living community. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with the highest level of care and respect. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and truly care about the well-being and dignity of the residents they serve.
Shifts Available:
Full-time 6am-2pm w/
EOW Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to nursing staff Maintain accurate medication records and documentation (MARs) Ensure proper storage, handling, and security of medications Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.) Provide compassionate, respectful care while promoting resident independence and dignity Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines Assist with routine health monitoring (vitals, weights, etc., as required) Support a clean, organized, and safe environment
Qualifications:
Active CMA (Certified Medication Aide) certification in the state of Georgia Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and accuracy Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively Reliable, responsible, and professional demeanor
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Application Question(s): Can you work Part-time from 6am-2pm or 10pm-6am?
