Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Monitor vital signs, record medical information, and update electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems with precision Support specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, and other senior care services Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safe catheter care, tube feeding management, and other complex medical procedures Maintain a safe environment by following infection control procedures and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver holistic care aligned with individual needs Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic nursing practices such as vital signs measurement and medication administration Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is a plus Certification in medication administration or caregiving is preferred; willingness to obtain necessary licenses upon hire Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance Excellent communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities to support diverse patient needs Join us in delivering exceptional care that transforms lives!
