Job Description
Seeking a 3rd Shift (10pm - 6:30am) Home Health Aide/Medication Manager for our Assisted Living Apartments. This position is 24 hrs one week and 32 hrs the second week. This includes every other weekend and some holidays. We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in tenant's homes in accordance with an established servive plan. Responsibilities Provide home health care services in tenant's apartments Perform domestic and household tasks; including meal service, housekeeping and laundry. Transport and accompany tenant's to doctors office or other appointments Administer simple prescribed medications Assist with clients personal care activities Monitor tenant's status including vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc. and report changes in status or their condition to nurse. Document provided services Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Experience as a home health aide Ability to obtain med manager certification Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with ability to obtain chauffeurs license
