Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity to residents in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration Document all medication passes accurately and in real-time in MAR/TAR systems Observe residents during and after medication administration, monitor symptoms, and report concerns promptly Complete narcotic counts per policy and maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety Identify health changes early and prevent medication errors through attention to detail and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma/GED and age 18+ Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications Strong documentation and communication skills Experience in senior care preferred This role plays a vital part in delivering safe, accurate medication care, ensuring residents' well-being, and maintaining regulatory standards.
