Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity, following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration. Key duties include documenting medication administration in MAR/TAR in real-time, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns, completing narcotic counts, and maintaining clean medication carts and rooms. The role emphasizes preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma/GED, age 18+ Medication Administration certification CPR and First Aid certifications Strong documentation and communication skills Preferred experience in senior care This position requires a dedicated individual committed to enhancing residents' quality of life and ensuring safe medication practices in a senior living environment.
